Why you should participate
India has emerged as one of the world's most dynamic technology and innovation ecosystems, making it an ideal destination for Australian companies and startups. With a rapidly growing digital economy, world-class engineering and AI talent, a vibrant startup ecosystem, and cost-effective R&D capabilities, India offers significant opportunities to innovate, collaborate, and scale.
Initiatives such as the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission are accelerating the adoption of interoperable digital health infrastructure, while increasing investments, rising healthcare awareness, and growing demand for telemedicine, AI-driven diagnostics, remote patient monitoring, and digital therapeutics are driving market growth.
For Australian digital health companies, India's expanding healthcare market, large and diverse patient population, and strong government focus on digital transformation create a compelling environment to develop, validate, and commercialise innovative solutions. Australian businesses can partner with leading hospitals, healthcare providers, research institutions, startups, and technology companies to co-develop solutions for both Indian and global markets. Supported by the deepening Australia–India strategic and economic partnership, India is not just a market for expansion but a strategic innovation partner for Australian tech cand health companies.
