BIO Asia-Taiwan is a leading Asian biotech event where Australian companies have been highly effective in unlocking business opportunities and connecting with key industry players. In 2025, it welcomed over 140,000 exhibition visitors from 58 countries and showcased 850 exhibitors. The event attracts global industry leaders and innovators, and offers a wide range of activities, including exhibition, conference, networking activities and BIO Partnering™.

Key highlights of the Austrade program include:
Australia-Taiwan Biotech Collaboration Forum and Networking Reception, 15 July
This year Austrade is partnering with MTPConnect, Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Industries Promotion Office (BPIPO) and Taiwan BIO to organise the Australia-Taiwan Biotech Collaboration Forum to promote Australian biotech capabilities and competitive advantage to Taiwanese biotech companies. MTPConnect will take the lead in coordinating, inviting Australian speakers and finalising the forum agenda.
Austrade will also arrange a One-on-One Business Matching Program to connect with potential partners and explore business opportunities.
The event will conclude with a Networking Reception, bringing key industry players and major stakeholders to meet you at this exclusive networking activity.
Exhibition at Australia Pavilion at BIO Asia-Taiwan, 16 - 19 July
The Australia Pavilion will leverage Australia’s strong branding and reputation to showcase your industry capabilities and connect with industry contacts.
In 2025, the Australia Pavilion was the largest and busiest national pavilion, enabling Australian companies to highlight their clinical trials and biotech capabilities.
Austrade has secured special discounts from BIO Asia-Taiwan organisers for Australian exhibitors at the Australia Pavilion who wish to attend the full conference and participate in BIO Partnering™. We will provide further details once you register.

Places are limited and registration will be reviewed by our industry specialists for suitability. If accepted, you’ll receive an offer to participate which is confirmed upon payment. Once confirmed, Austrade will start working with you to ensure optimal preparation for this opportunity.

Australian Clinical Trials Initiative (ACTI)
The Austrade mission to BIO Asia-Taiwan is delivered as part of the broader Australian Clinical Trials Initiative (ACTI) ecosystem. ACTI is a coordinated, national effort to promote Australia as an attractive clinical trials destination.
