Who should participate
Austrade invites expressions of interest from Australian biotech and health sector companies that are export ready and currently generating business revenue that meet the following criteria:
- registered Australian business with a current ABN
- companies with innovative capabilities and expertise in one of the following areas:

- Clinical Trials
- Site, CRO, CMO or CDMO, bioanalytical laboratory
- Products and services that would benefit from this event, including but not limited to DCT technologies, data management, ethical, business registration and establishment, regulatory affairs, accounting, legal advice.
- companies with a viable product offering, existing customers and revenue stream/s, or have existing funding to support market expansion
- Australian biotech and health companies who have (or are looking to establish) a presence in the region and are interested in expanding to China
- ability to clearly describe and communicate company objectives and vision for growth
- ability to travel to China to attend activities including business meetings, pitch sessions and a networking event, between 13-16 May and/or 18-19 May 2026.

*Austrade's country and sector specialists will review your application based on the above criteria and contact you regarding the outcome of your application. Please note there are limited slots available. If successful, we will confirm your place in the program and provide further details on the program, including further advice on travel and accommodation logistics.
