Austrade invites Australian food and beverage exporters and agribusinesses to participate in our upcoming ASEABX Australian Agrifood Connections Mission to Vietnam and Cambodia from 15 to 20 March 2026.

In collaboration with State and Territory governments, Austrade is leading a five day in market program as part of theAustralia Southeast Asia Business Exchange program. This mission is aligned to Australia’s Southeast Asia Economic Strategy to 2040and aims to increase collaboration between Australian exporters and investors in agriculture and food and Vietnamese and Cambodian partners.

Why you should participate

The ASEABX mission offers Australian agribusinesses a unique opportunity to enter and expand in the dynamic Vietnamese and Cambodian agrifood markets, both of which are characterised by rapidly growing economies, rising middle classes and increasing consumer demand for high quality, safe and traceable imported foods. The mission's second stream on Food Security allows participants to capitalise on Vietnam's shift to modern, industrial scale farming and Cambodia's need to diversify its supply chains.

By participating in the mission, Australian companies will be able to showcase their expertise, collaborate with key players and gain insights into the agriculture and food landscape and emerging trends, accessing real opportunities for export and investment.

This mission will provide opportunity for Australian organisations with capabilities in agriculture and food across two streams

  • Food and beverage: exporters of meat, seafood, dairy, horticulture, beverage and packaged foods
  • Food security and food supply chain: agribusinesses supplying inputs, technology, knowhow, AgTech innovations to support agrifood productivity and sustainability

To find out more about eligibility, take a look at our 'Who should participate' page. Please note that positions in the delegation are limited and will be assessed against the stated criteria and for complementarity in the delegation. Submission of an EOI does not guarantee a position in the mission. Please wait to hear back from the Austrade team before making any travel plans.
