In addition to Austrade's participation terms, there are a few other terms we need to draw your attention to:

Payment terms

Clients are expected to cover:

• participation fees as outlined in their chosen package
• all travel, accommodation and incidental costs
• freight costs for samples and physical collateral

Austrade requires payment upfront for all international events. The payment term is 7 days from invoice date and your place is not secured until the fee is paid. Please refer to the event participation terms for further detail. Non-payment by the applied deadline will result in the forfeit of your reserved place on the event. You may also be eligible to claim some of your marketing and promotion costs associated with this exhibition through the Export Market Development Grant scheme. Withdrawal
The withdrawal period will be 3 days from receiving the acceptance email. For this event, upon withdrawal the participant will forfeit 60% of the total cost.

COVID-19

Every country has its own COVID-19 rules and regulations. These include:

• Vaccine mandates and social distancing laws;
• Vaccine certification, entry and testing requirements; and
• Quarantine rules when entering new regions or isolation periods if you test positive for COVID-19.

It is important that you check Smartraveller for the COVID-19 rules and regulations for each region that you will be travelling to while overseas and comply with all requirements. It is your responsibility to comply with all COVID-19 rules and regulations, and Austrade takes no responsibility for any liabilities that arise during your time overseas (for example, fines due to non-compliance or the costs of mandatory quarantine or isolation periods resulting from a positive COVID-19 test).

Austrade’s privacy collection statement

Austrade will collect, handle and disclose your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Austrade will use your personal information to facilitate your attendance at this event and to manage your business relationship'with Austrade. Disclosure of your personal information may include overseas recipients as Austrade has international offices and service offerings.

Austrade’s collection and handling of your personal information is authorised by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Austrade Act 1985 (Cth). Inaccuracy or non-collection of your information will impact Austrade’s ability to facilitate your attendance at this event and to manage your business' relationship with Austrade.

Austrade and its officers are bound to secrecy regarding and client information held by Austrade. Client information may only be disclosed if for the purposes of the Austrade ACT 1985 (Cth), under the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (Cth), or where otherwise required by law or a court order.
