• Must be eligible for Austrade services
• Must be a registered Australian business with a current ABN  
• Companies with innovative products, capabilities and expertise in one of the following areas: 
   
  • cosmetics and skincare
  • fragrance compounds and finished fragrances
  • hair care, nails, and salon supplies
  • personal care and hygiene products
  • natural, organic, and sustainable beauty products
  • beauty technology, tools, and devices
  • machinery, packaging, raw materials, and contract manufacturing
    
    
• companies with a viable product offering, existing customers and revenue stream/s, or have existing funding to support market expansion 
• Australian health companies who have (or are looking to establish) a presence in the region and are interested in expanding to Europe
• ability to clearly describe and communicate company objectives and vision for growth 
• ability to travel to Italy to attend all activities as part of the Cosmoprof Bologna 2027 program

Selection information: how applications will be assessed 

Expressions of interest will be assessed by Austrade in consultation with relevant mission partners. 

Assessment will consider: 

• Alignment with the mission objectives.  

• Commercial readiness and European market potential.  

• Clarity of the applicant’s business development/research collaboration objectives.  

• Commitment to pre-departure and in-market participation.  

• The potential for the mission partners to facilitate meaningful introductions and commercial outcomes.
