Showcase your clinical development capability to the world:
EOIs now open for ACTI FY2026-27
Australian Clinical Trials Initiative (ACTI) is Austrade’s national platform for promoting Australia’s clinical development capability to international biotech, biopharma and life sciences partners. It positions Australia across the development pathway — from clinical trial delivery, bioanalytical services and regulatory support through to clinical manufacturing, process development and scale-up.
Through a targeted forward calendar of international trade missions, seminars and market engagement activities, ACTI will help Australian companies connect with global decision-makers, access priority markets and present a more integrated Australian offer for clinical development, biotechnology collaboration and manufacturing partnerships.
The FY2026–27 program will feature events and activities from October 2026 to July 2027 across Europe, North America and the Asia-Pacific. Events will be anchored to major global life sciences events and supported by Austrade-led market engagement, national messaging and coordinated promotion of Australia’s clinical trials, biotechnology, biomanufacturing and broader clinical development capabilities.
ACTI is supported by the Accessing New Markets Initiative (ANMI), a $55 million program helping Australian businesses diversify and grow their exports. In FY2026–27, ACTI will be delivered through a Team Australia approach, bringing together Austrade and participating state governments to present a clear, coordinated and compelling national offer in priority global markets.
Participate now
Austrade is seeking EOIs from eligible Australian companies in the clinical trials, biotechnology, biomanufacturing and life sciences sectors. The centralised EOI allows companies to indicate interest across multiple ACTI activities through one process, reducing duplication and supporting earlier coordination on mission fit, market readiness and international positioning.
