Seminar at London Life Sciences Week 2026 (Seminar London)

Austrade invites Australian clinical trials service providers to join an exclusive industry seminar at Australia House, London, connecting Australian organisations with leading UK and international biotech, pharmaceutical, and life sciences stakeholders.

Held as part of London Life Sciences Week, when the global life sciences community gathers in London for a week of industry events, and scheduled back-to-back with BIO Europe in Cologne, the seminar offers a unique opportunity to maximise your European business development activities.

As one of the world's leading centres for drug discovery, biotechnology innovation, and life sciences R&D, the UK presents significant opportunities for Australian providers to showcase their capabilities, engage directly with decision makers responsible for clinical development and research outsourcing, build relationships with potential customers, partners, and collaborators, and explore commercial opportunities across the UK and broader European life sciences markets. Take advantage of this opportunity to position your organisation as a partner of choice for global clinical development programs and highlight the strengths of Australia's world class clinical trials ecosystem.

Why you should attend

By participating in BIO-Europe 2026, you will gain access to one of the world's premier life sciences partnering events, providing direct engagement opportunities with leading biotechnology companies, pharmaceutical firms, venture capital investors, licensing professionals and service providers from Europe, North America and Asia.

Europe remains one of the world's largest biotechnology and pharmaceutical markets, with strong demand for innovative therapeutics, clinical development capabilities and research partnerships. The EU’s life sciences sector is valued at more than €1.5 trillion and is home to 15% of the world’s top life sciences companies. Europe increasingly looks to Australia as a high-quality partner recognised for its efficient regulatory system, world-class and cost-effective clinical research, and competitive R&D environment. For Australian organisations, BIO-Europe provides a valuable opportunity to showcase capabilities, identify commercial partners, engage with investors and explore pathways into European markets.

As part of the Team Australia delegation, participants will benefit from a coordinated national presence that promotes Australia's strengths across biotechnology, drug development and clinical trials. Austrade's network throughout Europe can also provide market intelligence, introductions and practical support to help organisations maximise opportunities before, during and after the event.
