Join team Australia at WHX Dubai in the UAE from 25-28 January 2027 and connect with global and regional healthcare companies seeking new technologies and expertise to match their business needs.

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has seen a rise in its global stature for its health sector advancements. UAE's healthcare market is expected to reach a value of 6 billion AUD by 2030, as there is a strong demand from both a growing population and a thriving medical tourism industry, further supported by world-class infrastructure and a focus on digital health innovation. Australian health companies should consider the UAE for business due to its rapidly growing market, supportive and business-friendly regulatory environment, and strategic global location. As a gateway to the wider Middle East and Africa (MEA), the UAE also serves as a strategic hub for companies looking to expand their regional footprint and access high-growth markets.

The Australia-UAE CEPA benefits health companies through tariff elimination on products like pharmaceuticals, streamlined supply chains, and reduced regulatory hurdles. It enhances market access for Australian companies to expand their presence in the UAE and the broader Middle East, using the UAE as a regional hub. The agreement also promotes regulatory harmonisation, greater business certainty, and increased cooperation in the services sector, supporting efficient trade and new opportunities for Australia - UAE collaboration.
